Thanks, Steve. I began with leftover strips from previous collages, and saw how luckily they fit together at certain points, i.e., one branch lining up with another in adjoining strips. Finding just the right figures took longer, but I got lucky with the one on the right, as the side of her body in shadow overlapped perfectly into the darkness beside her. It's a mixture of serendipity & being open to whatever comes up, and then seeing it.
