Wood duck

Wood duck
The Adelaide botanical gardens has a system of ponds to clean and store the water in the creek which flows most strongly in winter, and using it to water the gardens. The Wood duck is a native species, which grazes and also roosts in trees. Very common species in South Australia's wetter areas.
