Actually that's the real McCoy - a true Jasmine and not a Potato Vine. A quick check on the web indicates that is most likely Jasminum tortuosum (Perfume Jasmine, African Jasmine) e.g. see: toptropicals.com/catalog/uid/jasminum_tortuosum.htm Lovely crisp photo - can almost smell the fragrance just looking at it.

Interesting information Kurakongolia. I wish our flowers did have a perfume, but they don't! The plant is exceptionally drought hardy, though, and requires not attention in our dry climate.
It is an intriguing group of plants which have all acquired the common name of "jasmine". There is one often grown here called Chinese jasmine, also a hardy creeper.

I'm surpised, by the lack of scent Alass, but still sure that it is a true Jasmine (Genus: Jasminum). Another true Jasmine species often grown here is sometimes called Chinese Jasmine. That species is Jasminum polyanthum and has pink on the flower buds and outside of newly opened flowers, its flowering is in a single burst confined to early spring, and it has a much stronger more overpowering scent than in J. tortuosum.
