Manchurian pear fruit eaten by a rosella

This oramental tree has clouds of white blossom in spring, bright green leaves in summer, and lots of tiny pears only a few centimetres long. The parrots love them, and can extract the seeds with great speed and dexterity. The autumn colours- red and yellow make it very popular with us.
