I don't know anything about it I have been looking on te internet but I haven't found anything like it, I wonder if it is Victorian they had some strange idea's,a although she looks terrified I think she is supposed to be playing with the cat and it was possibly for a child's birthday cake. The proportions are rather strange Peter :-) It's a lovely vintage decoration though and looks very Victorian to me. I love the expression on the girls face!
