I had a glimpse of the dish running away with the spoon !!!!! I'm pleased that you wrote that Christa I didn't know if the rhyme was known in other countries, there have been many theories about possible hidden meanings in these nursery rhymes but there is no proof

I heard it often, about 30 years ago, by my English friend (living nearby) for her little daughter...

No English friends for me (when little), but I grew up knowing it. And so my kids as well. In western united states.

really love this photo. there's something about the dark whisps of clouds that makes the special.

I'm pleased you liked it I tried the next evening when the sky was clear but it didn't look right, plus of course more of the moon was visible which again didn't seem right
