Its not that Coventry Cathedral is strapped for cash but just look at the rest of it, Non matching repair to the down pipe, mis-matched grouting to the brickwork. You've already pointed out the fence. Hopefully the hospices will get a good return for their efforts.

Spoiling the ship for ha'porth of tar !!!!! I don't know if it's looking through a camera but I find the lack of attention to details infuriating
