{OK} O&S - Ryton Bells

A visit to the Belfry of Holy Cross Church, Ryton on Tyne.

There is a ring of eight bells, as a Millennium project four were retuned and four new bells were cast by Taylors of Loughborough in April 1999. They were re-hung in time to "ring in" the Millennium - at midnight 0000/01/2000.

Technically, this visit was booked for the Heritage Open Days in September 2016, but we were unable to make the official visits and so were accommodated a few days later.
