{*W!P*} oad[B] - Beauty [previously "Cat 'E'"]

In late October 2023, we wondered what was sometimes eating the food we put out for the hedgehogs. By early November, the food was disappearing most, if not all, nights.
Put out the camera trap on the night of 9th/10th November --- and it captured this cat. {Cat "E" in gct[4]} - so we hoped to make friends --- as has happened with others previously.
However, Ben alerted us in the early evening on 21st November that something was wrong - he "pointed" at the cat's igloo with intense concentration. After a struggle, we contained her, but with a badly broken back leg and arranged to take her to the Vets. It was an open fracture of the Tibia/Fibula, vets offered several options, including pts.
Although we made the final decision, their advice was to try amputation as she was in good condition otherwise. They assessed her as 3-5 years old, and the missing ear tip indicated she was already spayed from a TNR scheme. The operation etc has probably cost north of a grand [£1,000.00].
She's now recovering ... at least 12 to 14 days with severely restricted movement. Then she'll need to learn how to be a triped, and probably living as an indoor cat. As of 1st December, she is recovering well so far. [And still quite feisty, although head scritches are permitted]. She has a lovely colouration, with white, ginger, grey/black all figuring prominently, making her quite the beauty, and so that became her name.
