{W!P} oad (g&h) - Gerbils and Hamsters

Over the years, we've had a significant number of these little animals and we've been lucky in that most of our menagerie seem to be blessed with long lives

We started breeding the gerbils largely by accident - as we tend to keep pairs of these social creatures. Then, one morning we found the first litter of pups, that pair of boys we bought last month was actually one of each !

Now, we try for the more unusual colour variations. All the offspring get good homes ! Now, [2020] we've been asked if we'll consider breeding hamsters next year (after covid).

As Elmer is now very elderly, we've got ourselves another Syrian hamster [the fifth we've had of our own, six if Findlay is included]. He's white with a black head and backside, plus some markings and will be answering to "Patch" ... he's been much quieter than James the second [Jimmie] on his first night with us [27th March 2022].
