This significant increase is for Spring [April] 2022 - and is pushing some households into "fuel poverty" where they have to decide on food or fuel as they can't afford both because of being in low or fixed income groups.
And to compound the problem, OFGEM have already said that there will [almost certainly] be another rise in October 2022.
