cvd - regional R estimates ; 5th February 2021

A noticeable drop in the "R number" in UK regions, showing the result of the third national lockdown. This drop should continue, provided that vaccination also prevents or reduces transmission.
It will increase again, if people do not observe the proper precautions when the lockdown is relaxed. I am expecting a rise in cases (even if R does not alter significantly) when the educational sector re-opens in March.
