The result of visiting Dunkirk in 1939. (one of 19 lifeboats that answered the call in "Operation Dynamo")
Found drifting after being abandoned by her naval crew, and towed back to Dover. She was full of water but still afloat, despite being rammed (twice) and repeatedly machine gunned. The RNLI repairs included patching 500+ bullet holes before she went back on station at Eastbourne
