There's the same pheasant with the swollen foot. Have you mentioned it to the staff who care for the nature reserve?

The staff know this bird well Jenny, It comes to the reception hide and they feed it whenever it visits. I don't think there is anything they can do for the swelling but it doesn't seem to affect the pheasant. I feed it and it runs like the wind when it sees me approach..
