Oh it's so beautiful - my father's family used to live near Snowdonia. It probably looked like that then.

I don't think it changed much apart from Lake Celyn, created in the 1960's the reservoir was built for a water supply for Manchester but it has a village sunk in the middle of it. The locals were given a short time to evacuate it.
