Beautiful light and landscape - but I don't think that I would ever has guessed this was Wales!

My wife was from Albuquerque and she loved this area. It was our favourite drive.

this is just how I would do it plan go and what nature gives is what you get, love the POV.

I can feel the morningness in this image, even without a sunrise. I think without the sun I look more closely at the other details in the photo. So many of interest, and beautifully composed. Your choice to take this from a low angle helps me feel like I'm there. I love this.

It's nice that you chose something you are comfortable with, that you konw well, for World Photography Day. We sometimes get caught up in searching for something new, but being in the same place over and over can reveal some fascinating things.

Do you have to drive or walk a long ways to get to this place? I'm impressed that you got there for the early morning light. You must be an early riser? (I'm a night owl.)

Hi Raingirl, I have to drive for an hour and 20 minutes to get to Lake Padarn where this is. I start off around 4am to get there before dawn usually when I do go early. I do like to get there though it gets busy later in the day. So I get up at 3-30am when I go :)
