What a long straight walkway. Does it ever get covered by the water? Seeing the rocks on one side of it, indicates that's where the waves would come from the sea, and the rocks are there to break up the force of the water. This is a lovely picture, and the weather was very kind to you.

Hi Jenny, the water on the right is a marine lake. the sea does come over the walkway at high tide. I once took my sister and the tide was coming in. She got scared and ended up running as the water started to come over the top of the path. We often walk around this lake at West Kirby,
