EXQUISITE!!! What fine details and perfect lighting! I love the bokeh too...I can barely make out the totally bokeh-fied ?chain link? fencing! :D Wonderful!

Hi Janet, yes there is a new enclosure for these lions and I took the photo through chain link fencing.. there is another fence in the background.

HAH! I knew it! Only because I've had pictures just the same and found it really interesting how the chain link disappears except if you know what to look for.

As I mentioned in my comment today--you got some seriously impressive pictures of the big cats while you were there! Definitely on my bucket list to get a number of truly satisfying pictures like yours. They are really wonderful. :)
