The terracotta mother goddess, was made in Mehenjodaro between 2300-1750 BC Common to the Indus civilization as a whole, the figurine’s design was crude: a wide girdle, loincloth, necklace and monstrous headdress. The features are limited to protuberances of barely modelled clay
