This new way of seeing things began in the world of art. Modern artists such as Jackson Pollock were famous for declaring that what they think their art means is what it means, and that’s that. The postmodern artists and America were fueled in the 1960s by the rebellions of women, people of color, and the groups we now describe is LGBTQ+ They were also reaching to the emotional status quo of the Cold War era.
