Sauted double bean

The lima bean (/ˈlaɪmə/) (Phaseolus lunatus), also known as the butter bean, sieva bean, double Bean or Madagascar bean, is a legume grown for its edible seeds or beans.
Upkari is a dry side dish which is known as stir fry.We konkanis prepare upkari’s with pulses, vegetables or with various beans.Few upkaris don’t have onion in the recipe.
Here is a simple upkari but its so really tasty. It almost tastes like bibbe upkari (tender cashew). This upkari can be done with fresh lima beans or Jeev Avro/Avrekalu which is available during winter season
