Qui siamo nel territorio di Castiglione Falletto, uno dei comuni della zona di origine delle uve adatte a produrre i vini a denominazione di origine controllata e garantita «Barolo», la cui prima delimitazione risale al 31 agosto 1933. Gli altri comuni sono: Barolo e Serralunga d'Alba e parte dei territori dei comuni di La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, Roddi, Verduno, Cherasco, Diano d'Alba, Novello e Grinzane Cavour, tutti in provincia di Cuneo. A Corsavy abbiamo pranzato in un ristorantino familiare, tutto fatto in casa e buonissimo. Era singolare l'ingresso, bisognava passare da una épicerie (negozio di alimentari) ! Alla fine del pranzo abbiamo detto alla padrona che avremmo fatto acquisti (prodotti locali invitanti), ma chiedevamo di lasciarli lì poiché avevamo intenzione di visitare il villaggio (auto al sole, non adatta a ospitare cibi). Allora la padrona ci ha detto di fare il nostro giro, avremmo fatto tutto dopo, ci ha lasciato uscire senza pagare, e ci ha consegnato la chiave della chiesa !
