Palazzo Salimbeni o Rocca Salimbeni fu edificato nel XIV secolo, ampliando un castellare della famiglia Salimbeni preesistente del XII o XIII secolo, appoggiato alle mura altomedievali. Fu restaurato e rimaneggiato in stile neogotico dal 1877, ad opera di Giuseppe Partini, che demolì alcuni corpi e ne sopraelevò altri, aggiungendo strutture e paramenti in stile antico. Ancora nel Novecento fu condotto un restauro da Carlo Ariotti e Vittorio Mariani, quando furono rimaneggiati anche i palazzi laterali della piazza, che assunsero l'aspetto attuale. Al centro della piazza c'è la statua dedicata a Sallustio Antonio Bandini, ad opera dello scultore Tito Sarrocchi. Arroccato su di una collina, questo villaggio è considerato uno dei più belli di Francia, grazie a un patrimonio incredibilmente ricco e interessante da un punto di vista architettonico, religioso e storico. Qualche giorno fa sono passata di lì, ma non ho potuto fermarmi a visitarlo, perciò ho solo questa visione panoramica, sarà per la prossima volta ! Solanum rantonnetii, now Lycianthes rantonnetii (blue potato bush) In the family Solanaceae, it is native to Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay. Beautiful ever-blooming shrub. Tolerates dry conditions and extreme heat. Very fast-growing. Produces masses of deep purple, yellow centred flowers. Flowering is most prolific during the warmer months. Il motivo è semplice: il calendario e l’anno solare differiscono leggermente. Il pianeta infatti impiega 365.25 giorni per compiere la sua rivoluzione intorno al sole: per tale ragione l’autunno può, ogni tanto, tardare. Così oggi, alle ore 22.02 italiane, potremo definitivamente “salutare” l’estate e incominciare a pensare al cambio del guardaroba. L’autunno durerà poi fino al 21 dicembre: alle ore 17.28 infatti il solstizio d’inverno aprirà ufficialmente le porte all’inverno e ci porterà verso la fine del 2017.
