Walking home one evening I was confronted by this little fella as I turned into the farm drive. Both of us stopped dead in our tracks. I was able to grab the camera and get a few shots before he loped off across the field at a rate of knots.

Abandoned by his mother, he was hand reared and treated as a household pet until he was able to look after himself, then let out into the fields.

Genuine mole skin
Complete with genuine mole. Found it lying there, on its last legs, as it were. Died soon after. Think it had been mauled by a cat, though not certain why it was wandering around on the surface in broad daylight in the first place.
