At the approach of a train, the red and white barriers slide down the pole - at the risk of decapitating motor cyclists - accompanied by bells and flashing lights. The gates on wheels I presume are used for when the barriers fail.

Strange theme park near Non Thai. The skewered women are depicted with piggy faces, and the upside down men seem to have the heads reversed. Extreme table top soccer....

Banyan Tree. About a mile or so from Phimai is this Banyan Tree. The sign says; 'The Banyan Tree covers an area of 35,000 square feet and more than 350 year of age. Her Royal Highness the 5th Queen Prasiprachalintara visited the Phimai Village for sight seeing and saw the beautiful Banyan Tree into "Sai Ngam" on the 21st January in 1911'.

DMU 2520 arrives at Thanonchira Jn with an air conditioned premium fare service from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani. At about 7hrs 30mins, it's over 4hrs faster than a 'Rapid' loco hauled train on the same route. Diesel 4147 and brake van on the left. The red disc on the brake van is the equivalent of a tail lamp.
