Static display at the former station at Hawes, North Yorkshire, a station on the former joint Midland Railway/London & North Eastern Railway branch, from Hawes Junction – now known as Garsdale, on the Settle & Carlilse Line – which meandered across country to Northallerton, and closed in 1959.
The locomotive is Robert Stephenson and Hawthorn 0-6-0T No 12, which spent its days shunting at Hams Hall Power Station, in the West Midlands. It carries the number of the long gone 67345, which was an LNER Class G5 0-4-4T.
