That would be worth something to see one of these in the UK!
There was a family of what I took to be Korats living wild in the courtyard of a hotel we frequented in Korat. I think the kitchen staff fed them at intervals, but the waitress couldn't understand why I ordered some raw fish to feed to the cats... For the most part, animal welfare has yet to evolve in Thailand.
