The inside view
Interior of DMU 2520. The row of fans along the ceiling were brought into use when the air conditioning failed. Twice. A travelling fitter was part of the train crew.
En route Thanonchira Jn to Bangkok. About 160 miles and 5 hours. And all for the premium fare of 247 Baht, about £4.00 at the time.

It was most enjoyable, despite the lack of legroom. Interesting to compare with what I'm used to here in the UK.
