Sandsend is literally the end of the sand-y beach north of Whitby. The ruined Whitby Abbey is just visible on the clifftop in the distance.

That is a very familiar view ... nice to see it again.
The cliffs curving around really draw the eye towards the piers, and the three humps of Saltwick Nab just beyond them.
