HFF Trier Rhineland-Palatinate Germany 29th April 2018

We were in Trier for the Dampf Spektakel so most of our time was spent at the station! However we did explore the city centre and this most impressive building is the Porta Nigra a monumental Roman gateway dating from the Second century AD.

Es gibt einige sehenswerte, alte römische Bauten in Trier. Doch die Porta Nigra ist etwas besonderes. Vor etlichen Jahren habe ich die alten Stufen auch bestiegen und sie von Innen und nach Außen betrachtet.
