Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 4th August 2021

British Railways Standard 5 4-6-0 73156 arrives tender-first in platform 2 at Loughborough Great Central station with the returning 11.15 train to Leicester.

Perfectly timed we were taking a break from lineside clearance & having our lunch on a platform seat when the Standard 5 rolled in.

Thanks Peter. We have one but it's only good for small locos at the moment because it needs attention. One day we might get more but for now all the money is concentrated on "bridging the gap" between the two half of the GCR.
