Water tower

Water tower at Walton Works, Brampton, Chesterfield. The Walton Works site was first developed as a 'candlewick and tape' factory. In 1896 it was purchased by Robinson and Co. for the manufacture of lint and later for antiseptic dressings, cardboard cartons and cotton wool. In the 20th century the works was enlarged with new buildings. It is listed Grade II*.
