Mercantile Bank Of Lancashire Limited


These banking premises in West Didsbury, Manchester, were designed by architect J Swarbrick in 1901 and completed in 1903. The brick and terracotta was manufactured in Ruabon. In 1904, the Mercantile Bank of Lancashire ran into difficulties and was absorbed into the Lancashire and Yorkshire Bank The building is now listed Grade II and occupied by a firm of solicitors.
