Thrislington Quarry

Tarmac operates the Thrislington Quarry which opened in 1954. It extracts and processes around one million tonnes of limestone and sand aggregate each year. I am unsure whether this fixed plant is still in use or if the production is now processed with mobile plant within the quarry.
