Arthur Kay & Bro Jewellers, has been situated on Market Street, Manchester, since 1897. I understand that this gilded sign dates from 1901 and would be a good offer indeed these days. However, a small plaque underneath points out that the sign is only retained as a historic artefact and that wedding rings are no longer charged only by weight.
