Star Iron Works

Some things just fall into your lap and so it was with the Star Iron Works in Greenacres Street in Oldham. This was built as an iron foundry by Mr William Toole towards the end of the nineteenth century judging by the architecture.
I spotted it as I was driving around the adjacent streets in search of interesting architecture. Just look at those castings around the big doorway!
