Maroon monster

Current main motiver power on the Churnet Valley Railway is seen leaving the intermediate station at Consall. I cannot bring myself to like this incarnation of the Stanier 8F in maroon. I have tried to see some attraction in the livery but it leaves me cold. I much prefer dirty black, just as I remember them back in the 1960s. At least there was steam to spare.
