Digital Photos
A rare digital album of a film photographer.
Chugchilán Dance Troupe
Young girls discuss strategy before a performance of Andean traditional dancing.
An occasional digital photo merits a post.
This image was shot from the 10.2 megapixel still shot function of a Sony HDR-SR12 equipped with a Carl Zeiss 1.8/4.9-58.8 Vario Sonnar lens.
Reserva Biológica Bosque Nuboso - Monteverde
Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve protects a spectacular tropical environment.
This 2006 photo came from a Nikon E8700 "Coolpix" 8 megapixel consumer digital camera.
Although I post primarily analogue film photos I reserve the right to post an occasional digital image much in the same way that I occasionally eat unhealthy food . . .
Cuy Cuy
And now, for something completely different . . .
A negotiation for a pair of Cuy Cuy (Andean guinea pigs) in the Otavalo Saturday market.
This candid shot was taken with a small consumer point and shoot Sony DSC-W55 pocket travel camera owned by my son, Nash.
Nature's Profound Beauty
Something different.
Obviously an amateur film clip, yet a tantalizing view of the exquisite cloud forest of Monte Verde, Costa Rica.
Please note: Videos on Ipernity take a while to render and may also be slow depending on your internet speed.
This short video clip from April, 2006 was shot from my Sony DCR-TRV27 camcorder and edited and rendered with iMovie/iDVD on my Mac Pro desktop computer as a memory of a family excursion.
Laguna Quilotoa
Although the majority of my images are from analogue/film cameras, an occasional photo from a digital camera is merited. Especially when one is on top of the Andes admiring the view from the rim of a crater lake 4,000 meters above sea level.
Taken from a 10.2 megapixel still image function of a Sony HDR-SR12 equipped with a Carl Zeiss 1.8/4.9-58.8 Vario Sonnar lens and a Tiffen 37mm UV filter.

Seventh Paradise
Does a fence need to be man-made in order to qualify for an HFF photo?
Nature seems to have created a magnificent trailside fence here in this equatorial cloud forest reserve.
