Nederland - Noord-Holland, bloeiende bollen

The so called ‘Top of North Holland (Kop van Noord-Holland) offers one of the largest areas of bulb flower fields in the world. During spring (mid April till mid May) tulips, narcissus, hyacinths and other bulbs show their amazing colours in blooming bulb fields.

This bulb growing area developed after World War I around the town of Anna Paulowna and after World War II there was even a huge expansion.

Wunderschön.
Solche Felder kennt man nur aus Holland. Früher in der DDR kannte ich noch Tulpenfelder, das ist aber Ewigkeiten her.
Deine Colage gefällt mir, die Schachbrettblume ist mein Favorit.

En weet je wat ik nou de mooiste vind Jaap? De Keizerskronen en daarna die Kievitsbloemen. Zo van onderaf nog nooit meerdere Kievitsbloemen gezien, echt super hoor... Zag je die ook in die botanische tuin?

Schitterende lucht ook achter die Keizerskronen, super!

Ik had die keizerskronen nog nooit gezien en ging daarvoor graag op m'n rug ;iggen om er onder te komen. Die foto is gemaakt in de Hortus.
De andere kievietsbloemen vond ik tijdens onze fietstocht, 'gewoon' in een enorm veld zoals alle andere bollen. Ik altijd maar denken dat ze zeldzaam zijn, De in het wild groeiende kennelijk, want daarvoor heb ik in de buurt van Hasselt een keer flink moeten zoeken, maar gelukkig wel met resultaat: www.ipernity.com/doc/294067/32446383/in/album/537905
