A touch of blue

Photographed at the Reader Rock Garden in Calgary, on 8 August 2012. Lilies of any kind are one of my favourite flowers to photograph when I call in at this garden. Friends are posting very recent photos of beautiful flowers, both garden and wild, and I still haven't seen any at all, other than a few Prairie Crocuses. I need to get out very soon! Each of the last two or three springs, what tended to happen was that, by the time I finally did get out there, quite a few of the plants had already developed their seedpods. So many plants seem to last such a short time.
The temperature this morning, 29 April 2015, is 11C and the sun is shining. There is a 60% chance of a shower this afternoon, with a temperature of 15C. Hard to believe, but yesterday, the temperature got up to 26C between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm! When I checked the forecast, snow-rain showers are forecast for Sunday. We really need the moisture or we will be heading into drought.
