Borage in a friend's garden

Borage in a friend's garden
It was far too windy when I took this photo in a friend's garden on 27 July 2014. However, I don't think I have a photo of Borage (Boraginaceae family) on my photostream, so I decided to post this shot anyway. At least some of the hairy little buds and stems came out sharp enough, even if the flowers are a blur : ) This plant is also known as starflower, bee bush, bee bread, and bugloss.

"Borage, also known as a starflower, is an annual herb. It is native to the Mediterranean region and has naturalized in many other locales. The leaves are edible and the plant is grown in gardens for that purpose in some parts of Europe. The plant is also commercially cultivated for borage seed oil extracted from its seeds."
