A distant beauty

A well-cropped, 48 times zoomed image of this beautiful Common Loon (one of several seen), taken at the Glenmore Reservoir on 30 April 2014. Birds seen at this location tend to be in the middle of the Reservoir or the far side. This Loon happened to be swimming just a little closer, giving me the chance for a still distant shot.
