Dark Phase Gyrfalcon


I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is a Dark Phase Gyrfalcon, seen on 22 December 2013 in low light, SE of Calgary. If anyone could confirm or correct my ID, I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

Dark hood and you will also notice that the wing tips do not reach the tail tip ... a terrific find and shot. I did get shots of the "White Morph" last year ... what a thrill to even see one here!!
