It's not every day that you see a baby dinosaur


One of the outdoor exhibits at the Tyrell Museum, Drumheller, in the Badlands of Alberta (land of the dinosaurs). Taken on 4 January 2013, when four of us took part in the annual Horseshoe Canyon/Drumheller Christmas Bird Count. As you might guess, I took it by surprise, but managed to get this quick shot before it disappeared into the distance : ) If only our wildlife was more cooperative, but you know what they say about those dinosaurs..
