So, I didn't have a photo of the American flag, so I reckoned the next best thing would be a majestic Bald Eagle. This fluffed up one lives at the Calgary Zoo and this is a photo from my archives. Wishing all Americans, everywhere in the world, a Happy 4th July. A special thought for those American citizens who have sacrificed, and continue to sacrifice, so much, so that the rest of their countrymen can live in peace. This must be a difficult day for many, but hopefully "pride" will be in abundance today. I also hope the sight of this snow might briefly "cool down" all those who are suffering from tremendous heat and no power right now. My heart goes out to you! Happy 4th July, everyone!
