Surrounded by sunlight

Took this photo of a female Snowy Owl at the Calgary Zoo and unfortunately, not in the wild : ) Came across this old photo, taken 17th October 2009, when I was going through the file ready to back-up to external hard drive. I'm lucky to have seen quite a few Snowy Owls in the wild over the last few years, but it makes a change to get a shot this close.
