Morel

I was so delighted to come across several of these Morel mushrooms! I had been hoping to find the Great Horned Owl family, but had given up and was on my way out of the park when I spotted these shrooms. After taking a few photos, I stood up and looked up and there, through the trees, was one of the two young Owls, sitting asleep in the grass : ) I got such a surprise, ha. Will post a photo of him/her tomorrow, when I get back from a long day-trip out - need to set my alarm for 4:45 a.m.. Sounds like a super trip, though.
