Maybe an Edith's Checkerspot

When we went to the mountains almost a week ago, to the University of Calgary's Open House (held at their Field Station near Barrier Lake), a few of us went on a butterfly walk. It was led by Steve, a Professor from the States, who is spending the summer working at the U of C's Field Station, and who thought this butterfly he caught was a possible Edith's Checkerspot. If it is, then it's the first one I've ever seen.
