Brilliant camouflage
Joys of the forest
Out of the darkness comes light... in memory of 11…
Like teeny blueberries
Frilled Lizard
A touch of sunlight
Hoary Rosette
Backlit Fritillary
The painted look
Yellow Jacket's nest
Pretty but poisonous
Wrinkles
Cladonia, Medusa wanna-be
Juvenile Snowy Owl
Clash of colours
Marvels of the forest floor
A little green crawly thing
Swift Fox
White beauty
One-flowered Wintergreen
Little brown Puffball
Before summer's end
The old pig barn
Campion
A touch of velvet
Growing on a little leaf
Just before the rain
Field Bindweed
Back-lit back
The cutest cluster
Asparagus
Orange ruffles
Side by side
Curled lip
Beauty at its finest
Am I a Ladybug?
Land of rolling hills and outcrops
Damage done
In the light
Urchin of the forest
Hanging on
A young one
Pink Soapwort
Scarlet Runner Bean
Like little hats

I know we "all" post photos of beautiful lilies, but let's face it, they are gorgeous flowers, LOL. This beauty was growing at the Reader Rock Garden when I called in there a couple of days ago. It was so windy that I really wasn't expecting any of my photos to be anything other than blurry.
Just spent around eight hours of walking today in Bragg Creek Natural Area, west of the city, to botanize the area. Though the fungi were few and far between, we did see quite a few different mosses and lichens, a beautiful moth, and a family of Gray Jays.
