Eastern Kingbird

Holy smokes! It's 11:15 p.m. and I've just woken up from taking a "nap". Usually, I never, ever take naps, but I was almost falling asleep all the time recently and so knew I had absolutely no choice. I fell into bed at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon and had expected to wake up after maybe an hour or two, LOL. Now, I'm all mixed up as to what time it is and what day I'm on. Thought I'd get my "daily three" uploaded and then head back to bed : ) This is an Eastern Kingbird that I saw south east of the city a few days ago. These birds will fearlessly attack anything and anyone that encroaches on their territory - so beware, LOL! It's scientific name, "Tyrannus tyrannus", suits it well : )
